Article Marketing Blog and Forum

I have come to the realization that article marketers are among the laziest sons of b’s out there.  They will cut every single corner they possibly can to save themselves another minute when they are generating articles for promoting their websites.  I can understand why.  After all, who wants to put a lot of effort into an article that is going to become someone else’s property as soon as it is published?  This is especially true when you are using an article spinning and distribution service. Who cares about the quality of those right?

Well, let me tell ya.  The people who own the blogs and article directories that your articles are being sent to do care about the quality of the articles that get submitted to them.  I remember reading a Warrior forum thread where a guy was complaining that Unique Article Wizard wasn’t working as well as it once had.  I thought to myself that this guy was probably one of those guys who doesn’t care one bit about the quality of the articles he is distributing for backlinks.  All he wants is his link.  He doesn’t care one little bit whether or not anyone ever actually reads the article.  You are probably thinking the same thing right?

Take a minute and put yourself in the shoes of the people who own the blogs in the network.  They are trying to make money with those blogs and article directories.  They aren’t letting you publish your spun articles there because they are such generous people.  They are doing it for their own selfish interest.  They are willing to give you those links in your articles in exchange for your contributing some unique content to their site.  But, when your content is a total piece of shit, they aren’t going to want to publish it.  You are thinking big deal right?  So what if they don’t approve my article.  It is still going to hundreds of other blogs and some of them will approve it.

Yes that is probably true.  But, here is the part you don’t realize.  That guy who rejected your article didn’t just reject your one article.  They added you to their blacklist of writers.  That means that their blog is never ever going to accept one of your articles even if you start writing better articles from now on.  You are permanently banned from their site.

I can hear you thinking “Big deal” again.  You are thinking that you are just going to publish your new articles under a new author name.  Then they will accept your articles right?  Wrong.  Your articles are tied to the email address in your UAW account.  So, once they blacklist you from that blog, you are going to be blacklisted permanently so long as you are a member of UAW.  That is why it is a bad idea to publish even so much as one crappy set of articles.

I know that it works this way because over the years I have had a bunch of websites that received articles from services like UAW and Article Marketing Automation and others.  It drove me absolutely nuts trying to sort out the half way decent writers from the ones who completely disregarded quality.  In fact that is the reason why I quit using those services to get unique content.  It became way too much of a hassle to sort out the worst content.  I would get one good article for every thirty or so submissions.

The thing was when you found a good writer they tended to be consistently good.  I remember one author who appeared to work for a Toronto Canada area SEO firm.  They would publish articles under the author name Adrianna Noton.  Those articles from Adrianna were always better quality articles.  I wished that Adrianna would have written all the articles that everyone ever published on UAW.  Then I would have happily accepted articles on auto-approve.

The quality level changed a lot depending on the niche.  For really out of the ordinary niches, the quality level was higher.  For niches like SEO, website promotion or anything like that, you would be completely overrun with spam from Asian writers of one type of another.  I don’t think they wrote good English even before the spinner did its damage.  Their content would make you puke.

So take my advice.  If you are going to invest that monthly fee to publish articles at one of those article spinning and distribution services, then you should pay attention to quality.  Always try to publish higher quality material because you will end up with ten or twenty more links than everyone else.  And those ten or twenty links will be from sites that are more cautious about quality.  That means those sites are going to last longer and probably get more love from the search engines than your run of the mill article spam site.

Quality makes a huge difference even when using an article spinning and distribution service.
