Chances are that you are using article marketing to help provide search engine optimization benefits for your website. You use article marketing for SEO because it is one of the easiest ways for you to create links for your site. You don’t need anyone else’s help to do it. You can do it whenever you want. There are ways to do it that don’t cost you anything but your time. That is why it is so appealing. It is cheap and effective. Do you have a regular plan that you follow for SEO? Or, do you just wing it every time?
I suggest you create a formal written outline of how you intend to do your SEO for whatever website you are working on right now. By creating a written outline you become far more productive. One of the more inefficient parts of building up a website is the amount of time you waste in between action steps. You spend too much time dwelling on the last thing you just did for your site. You spend too much time dwelling on ideas you have for things that you could do for your site in the future. Yet, you don’t spend enough time actually doing the steps that are going to take you from point A to point B.
If you had taken the time to write everything down in chronological order, then instead of dwelling on the last thing or some imaginary future thing, you can simply do whatever comes next on the list. Trust me. Creating a chronological outline of how you intend to do your SEO will greatly accelerate your results.
One time in particular I had been spending a lot of time working on a brand new site. I was thinking about all the things I wanted to do with the site. I was imagining how profitable the site was going to be once I had achieved my ranking goals. But, I wasn’t really getting anything done towards that end. I decided to outline the steps I should take for my SEO link building for that site. By the end of that day, I had already accomplished half of the tasks I had on my list. I made more progress in that one day than I had made over the previous two weeks. My time was a hundred times more efficient because, by writing the steps down, I had clarified exactly what I should do next in order to get the results I wanted for that site.
I was able to bang off about seven things immediately that I know are going to make a big difference with that website. Wouldn’t you like to take seven steps ahead on your SEO efforts with your website? Try making that outline. You’ll see what I mean.
