The main reason that you can’t achieve top rankings in Google using only one article distribution service by itself is because that distribution service has a limited number of sites in its network that you are going to be getting links from. And links from the sites in its network are not going to be all that powerful. There are a couple of exceptions to this. Most of the popular article spinning and distribution services don’t have that much power unless you are competing in lower competition keyword environments.
When you belong to one of these article distribution networks, you are constantly submitting to the same websites over and over again. Yes they do build their networks over time. So, you do get some links from new sites. The thing is that the new sites added to the network are generally brand new websites. And, new websites don’t usually push much ranking power. So there is a limited amount of power you can extract from one network.
The article distributions are good for helping to build up your domain authority. You will get numerous links back from numerous other websites pretty quickly. It only takes a couple of submissions to get the vast majority of their sites in your niche linking back to you. You get a slightly lower return on investment with each subsequent article submission. In fact, if you bothered to go through the trouble of keeping all of your original page link sources indexed in Google, then you would not even need to do the extra submissions. The main goal with these networks is to get one link back from every site in their network that you can get one from. That will help your domain authority and therefore help your rank in Google.
These article spinning and distribution services are good for getting your site onto page one in Google. That is not where the big money is though. The big money is in position one on page one. Most keywords will be poor income earners unless you are able to achieve that coveted number one spot. In order to get to that number one position you are almost always going to need some additional much more powerful links.
Those much more powerful links are going to need to come from trusted sources that pack more link juice. You might get them from some high PageRank link seller or maybe a service that offers high PR homepage links. You could build them yourself using white hat tactics like guest blogging. Chances are that you will need to juice up those guest blogs anyway if you choose that route.
A lot of the affiliates who push these various article distribution services will try to convince you that their particular network is all you are going to need to dominate whatever you want. This is simply untrue. For ranking in Google you are going to want to have a source of level 2 mediocre links as well as a source for the top level much more powerful links. These article spinning and distribution services are good for getting lots of the level 2 mediocre links. But, you still need that source of higher level authority links to get to position one.
